Bernadette
Bernadette is the social worker at Salaama Home ,she serves as a counsellor and mentor to the boys through her personalised care and dedication she offers guidance with a focus of building trust and resilience in the boys
Azai
Azai has been once a street kids and was also for a short time at Salaama Home. He has learnt tailoring and now he is compassionate about videography and photography. He likes when the boys keep the rules. In his videos he is very creative and cheerful.
Melody
Melody has a loving heart, a person who forgives and always sees hope in the boys. She puts God first in every situation, through her faith, we have experienced many miracles at Salaama Home. Melody is a blessing from God for uganda
Robinah
Robinah has been helping at Salaama Home for many years, sometimes more in the background supporting Melody to make wise decisions and other times being a great teacher to the boys. She knows how to teach beginners and everyone loves to learn, even when at the beginning they have refused. Robinah is very strict and thats what the boys need.
Joseph
Joseph is our night uncle, he sleeps almost every night at Salaama Home and has a big heart for the boys. With his gentleness and patience way, he brings peace at night before going to sleep. He travels a lot with the boys and everyone loves him.
Jael
Jael is our volunteer from switzerland , she loves the boys and the boys love her, she teaches them skills such as computer skill, baking, crotchet, tailoring and she teaches bible study and plays with the boys at the street kids programme every Tuesday and Thursday. She is a blessing to us.
Juliete
Juliet is our teacher at Salaama Home, she offers her experience in academics and ensures that the boys learn how to read and write,how to speak English and learn how to calculate. She also offers guidance and life lessons to the boys .
